Water University Upcoming Webinar:

THE RISKS OF INDUSTRIAL CYBERATTACK AND

 HOW YOU CAN MANAGE THEM

Wednesday, November 30, 2016, 1:00 - 2:30 PM MST

There is no fee for this webinar!

The risks of significant, debilitating cyberattack on America's

water and wastewater treatment facilities are mounting.

Without the proper industrial automation and control system

(IACS) defenses in place, a cyberattack can disable safe,

normal operations, and put the local environment and economy

as well as lives in jeopardy.

I hope you all didn't think you were done with this election stuff, because it is that time of year when Colorado Rural Water Association nominates and elects members to Director positions on the Board whose terms are expiring.  I invite you to become more involved with your Association and consider nominating yourself or another qualified System Member.  This year we are electing a Director from the Region III and an "At-Large" Director.

To be a candidate for Region III, you must be an eligible System Member from this region (click on the link below to view the map)

As an At-Large candidate you are eligible as a System Member from anywhere in the State of Colorado

Each Director serves a three-year term on a Board comprised of four (4) Regional Directors and four (4) At-Large Directors who represent the membership throughout Colorado.

 CRWA Regional Map

The nominating process officially is open now and closes January 2, 2017.  To become a candidate, you must complete the nominating petition (below) which requires the signature of three voting members of the Association and a consent signature from the candidate.

Please take a moment to consider this opportunity to participate and contribute to the success of your Association.

THANK YOU!
